The office opening will bring more than 30 jobs to the city of Charlotte.
(Charlotte, NC) – K&A Engineering Consulting P.C. (K&A), is pleased to announce its newest office location is now open in Charlotte, NC. K&A’s teams in the Carolinas, which consists of groups that perform Oversight Management, Work Management, and Project Development, support one of the largest utilities in the country. The initiative by this utility is to invest heavily in the Transmission and Distribution infrastructure, and in renewables/green energy, to have 50% carbon reduction by 2030. The teams support the development, planning, and execution of many Capital based projects.

As part of K&A’s corporate social responsibility initiative, K&A Cares, the company dedicated a day of their time in Charlotte to serve at Samaritan’s Feet, a non-profit organization that serves & inspires hope in children by providing shoes as the foundation to a spiritual and healthy life.
The Charlotte office opening contributes to K&A’s fast global growth, with the Chicago and Nepal teams expanding rapidly. In Q1 of 2023, K&A generated greater revenue, seeing a 25.3% increase from the previous year. To support this growth, K&A hired 27 new employees from the United States and Nepal in the first quarter, and they plan to hire an additional 30+ employees in Q2. This year, the leadership team hopes to broaden the client base while deepening relationships with existing clients as well.
