K&A supports the communities in which its employees and clients live and work. The initiatives are organized through K&A Cares, its formal charitable giving program, and inspired by employees.

K&A recently formed a community partnership with Fallen Patriots, which is dedicated to providing college scholarships and education counseling to military children who have lost a parent in the line of duty.

In April 2021, the K&A family made voluntary contributions to Fallen Patriots totaling $1,990. K&A is not only matching, but doubling its match of employees’ contributions, bringing the total donation to $6,250. This provides a full-year scholarship to a child eligible for the Fallen Patriots program.  

K&A is known for contributing to other non-profit organizations that provide services to veterans through K&A Cares. The firm has contributed to organizations providing food and shelter to veterans and even personally packed care packages to ease the burden of the winter months.
